Today is the Engineers Day which will going to be celebrated throughout the Indian subcontinent. In honor of India’s most famous engineer, Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvarayya, people of India celebrate his contribution to economic planning for their country and the world.
He is the pioneer of India's irrigation projects like dams, hydroelectric projects on the Kaveri river, near Mysore. He is the recipient of India's highest honour 'Bharatratna' in the year 1955.
